Although Mitchell's Fresh Salsa has been in stores for only two years it has been in the works for nearly 16 years. After working in restaurants throughout high school Mitchell's founder Corey Mitchell went on to attend the Culinary Institute of America. After graduating in 1992 he worked in various restaurants in the Northeast including Bostons famous "Jaspers" in the North End. He then went on to become a privaite chef cooking for such people as Michael Jordan, Martha Stewart and more. This is where he developed the various Salsas and Dips that make up the Mitchell's line of products.
After leaving a private chef job for Law and Order creator Dick Wolf in Spring of 2006, Corey decided to package and sell the Salsa that the rich and famous had been eating for years. Starting with just a Mild and a Hot Salsa, the Mitchell's line is now comprised of eleven items including Tortilla Strips. All of the Mitchells' products are made by hand with only the finest and freshest ingredients. Corey even hand picks the tomatoes from the Boston Market every week. Being a fourth generation Mitchell from Concord NH, it only seemed fitting to make that the home of Mitchell's Salsa as well. You can now find Mitchells' products all over New Hampshire as well as some stores in Maine and Massachussetts.
